There are wedding venues in Georgia that inspire timeless elegance and Taylor Grady is certainly one of those spots! With it’s close proximity to the University of Georgia in Athens, this antebellum style home is owned by the city and managed by the Athens Junior League. It is a gathering spot for weddings, social affairs like sorority formals, and even a backdrop for the film industry. When Sara and Lee contacted us through their planner, Marilisa of Chancey Charm, we knew this would be a stunner of an event. Set on a beautiful September Saturday, Sara chose to go with our Century style tent on 10′ legs, an upgraded version of the standard pole tent. 10′ legs raises the height of not only the tent sides but the centerpoles as well, giving it a much grander, spacious feel. We put the stage and band under a matching 15×15 tent and draped every metal leg in sight! Underneath the tent, Martha McIntosh did an amazing array of florals including a long runner down the central head table. And our cafe lights over the dance floor at Taylor Grady are always a hit!
