We now have farm tables for rent!  This page will catalog photos from various events to showcase the tables with different decor, florals, and chairs.  New photos will go up after each event so check this page often for updates.

Our tables were custom made.  They are 8′ long and 38.5″ wide.  Four guests can sit down each side of the table and two at either end for a total of 10.  For reference, a standard 8′ banquet table is 8′x3o” and our large King tables are 8′x48″.   The Farm Table’s medium width allows for large centerpieces with chargers or family-style dining.

For this fantastic farm wedding we traveled to Georgia’s horse country in Warrenton, GA. The bride desired an elegant wedding at her grandfather’s farm. She requested a 40×80 high peak pole tent with our amazing Father of the Bride lighting package. We also provided tables, chairs, bars, linens, a dance floor, and custom cafe string lighting adjacent to the tent. We stopped by during the festivities to take photos and were happy to see one of our favorite wedding cake bakers – Debra Adams from Cake Designs by Debra!  Check out the shot of her amazing cake below as well as the photos of our popular and elegant lighting schemes.

We provided custom sting lighting over the area adjacent to the tent. It was a great addition to the space.

Casa Banana II, a rental house on Lake Oconee, is another perfect lakehouse for weddings and events. This modern 10 bedroom house can sleep up to 40 people. It has massive views of the north end of the lake, a huge yard, and a pool. For this late March wedding we provided a 40′x80′ high peak pole tent, lighting, tables, chairs, dance floor, and a catering tent for Epting Events to use. The ceremony took place at the bride’s parent’s horse farm just off the lake. We provided our natural wood folding chairs for that as well. The family and friends of the happy couple rented the house for the week.  So after the wedding there was no rush to get home. We were extremely jealous of the good time they were having as we broke down the event the next day!

This event was special for us because it was the first time we got to see our new farm tables in use.  These traditional dark wood tables are 8′ long x 38.5″ wide and we had them custom made for our inventory.  You can find pricing and more photos on our Table Rental Page

Last summer the girls of the NotWedding contacted us about helping with this amazing event in Atlanta.  It’s a wedding, it’s a bridal show, it’s both!  Well, we were too busy to help at last summer’s event but we jumped at the chance to put our chairs on display at their March wedding at Ambient+Studio downtown.  We even got to join them on the set of the CBS Better Mornings Atlanta for a sneak peak a couple of days before the show.   They opted for a mixture of black and white chiavaris mixed in with the tables designed by several popular GA planners, florists, and designers.  Our favorite?  We’re not telling!  But we can say that it’s in one of the photos below…

For this beautiful fall wedding we traveled to Lincolnton, GA near Lake Thurmond.  The client wanted an elegant yet rustic feeling inside the 40×100 tent on their farm.  We went with a “father of the bride” lighting scheme using over 3,000 feet of mini lights draped from side-to-side across the tent.

Here’s a few shots of the tent during the day.  The client chose to go with sidepole drapes completely around the tent which gave it a much more elegant look.  We had severe storms during and after set up.   The drapes kept blowing up and wrapping around the light strings so the client was eventually forced to zip tie them to the bottom of the sidepoles.  The 60 mph gusts were no match for our quality tent install though!

But the tent really popped that evening.  We got there early just as the guests were arriving from the church.  We supplied the tent, tables, mahogany chiavari chairs, stage, and the dance floor.  The full set up took multiple trips and several days to complete.

Of course we want to showcase our own wedding. It shows what Goodwin Events is capable of doing!

We chose a venue close to our heart. Goodwin Manor is located in downtown Greensboro, just south of Athens GA and near Lake Oconee. Margie grew up in the house before moving to Athens in her teens. It has been in her family for over a hundred years. Two years ago a massive renovation brought the house back to its former glory. We actually painted the entire outside of this 5,000 sq ft house ourselves!

With 240 confirmed RSVPs we went all out with our event design. Following our plan below, we installed 6,500 sq ft of tenting adjacent to the ceremony site in the front yard. We employed a 40′x100′ high peak pole tent, 30′x40′ and 30′x30′ frame tents, and a 20′x20′ high peak frame entry tent.

BECAME….

We used our beautiful White Chiavari Chairs on the front lawn and Mahogany Chiavaris inside the tents.  For tables we mixed 60″ and 72″ rounds in with rectangular banquets and highboy cocktail tables to provide many different seating arrangements.  La Petit Jardin in Madison provided all the beautiful flowers and decor.

We brought in the greatest Georgia Wedding Band, The Highballs, to play our reception so we knew we needed a large dance floor and plenty of space to party.    A 24′x16′ dance floor surrounded by cocktail tables was the perfect set up.

Our caterer, Trumps Catering, out of Athens did a tremendous job.  We chose two buffets, two carving stations, and two bars on either end of the tent.  And La Petit Jardin did a wonderful job working with our budget on the table decor.

For this wedding and tent rental we headed down the road to Covington, just outside of Atlanta. The customer asked us to erect two separate tents in the yard of the groom’s family, a historic mansion in the quaint downtown. The first tent, a 40′x60′ High Peak Pole Tent, was placed over the driveway and car park area. We completely walled in with a mix of our cathedral window and solid sidewalls. For the lighting we provided a full perimeter cafe light install as well as our Full Cafe String Lighting Package. The customer also requested center pole drapes. We brought in 24-60″ tables and gold chiavari chairs to seat 217 guests for a served dinner. Next door to this main dining tent we set up a small 10×10 service tent for the caterer, Monkey Business out of Atlanta. Combined with the florist’s lighted trees around the edges of the tent and beautiful centerpieces (not yet set up in these photos), the guests were treated to an extremely elegant and formal dining area.

The other tent, the Entertainment tent, was separated from dinner tent by several giant magnolia trees giving it its own space in the backyard of the house.  The clients hired the 18-piece Sentimental Journey Orchestra out of Atlanta and therefore needed a large stage and dance floor area.  We devoted a 30′x60′ Frame tent to this purpose and added a few elegant details to enhance the look of the tent including star-sky lighting above a full tent liner and a few white spandex covered cocktail highboys to match the decor.   We also brought in a 28×16 dance floor to keep everyone dancing safely all night.

This summer we received a call from Gene looking for help with chairs for his Catholic Korean wedding at St. Brigid Catholic Church in Alpharetta. We were more than happy to help as we deliver hundreds and sometimes thousands of our popular chiavari chairs to Atlanta each weekend! Gene chose to rent silver chiavari chairs. Here’s a sneak peak of the wedding as it took shape Saturday afternoon. The church has a great ballroom and is a beautiful yet traditional venue for a wedding in Alpharetta.

Perry’s Landing Venue in Hepzibah, GA, just south of Augusta, is quickly becoming one of the most popular Augusta GA Wedding Venues. The gardens are absolutely amazing. We showed up on this beautiful October morning to set up almost 300 mahogany chiavaris to find we weren’t the only ones using the venue that day. A photographer and “model” were there doing a boudoir shot! Oops! I promise we kept our eyes closed the whole time This was one of the largest weddings ever held at Perry’s Landing and our mahogany chairs were the perfect compliment.

Alex and Amber were actually married in July in Italy (LUCKY!) but they wanted to bring their friends and family down to Lake Oconee to celebrate over Labor Day.  So they rented a house on Lake Oconee, the Retreat, a luxury 13,000 sq ft mansion and invited everyone to stay.  It’s a great deal and an amazing house. It has a huge lawn for weddings or parties, a pool, hot tub, dock, and room for 30-40 to sleep!  They rented smaller tents to cover the bar and food areas but kept seating in the open air between the tents.  We installed custom cafe string lighting across the area to give a European feel to the wedding and we worked with our specialty linen supplier to meet all of their needs and provide color to the event.  Here a few pictures of their set up.  The good ones are from their photographer – Alex Aleman Photography
