Alex and Amber were actually married in July in Italy (LUCKY!) but they wanted to bring their friends and family down to Lake Oconee to celebrate over Labor Day. So they rented a house on Lake Oconee, the Retreat, a luxury 13,000 sq ft mansion and invited everyone to stay. It’s a great deal and an amazing house. It has a huge lawn for weddings or parties, a pool, hot tub, dock, and room for 30-40 to sleep! They rented smaller tents to cover the bar and food areas but kept seating in the open air between the tents. We installed custom cafe string lighting across the area to give a European feel to the wedding and we worked with our specialty linen supplier to meet all of their needs and provide color to the event.
