Barely 5 years old, Goodwin Events has grown into a well-known Southeastern event rental and production company. We are a family-owned, close knit company with a small staff of devoted professionals. Our mission is simple: create unforgettable events. We want your family and friends to talk about your event for years. We believe in detailed planning, flawless execution, and a high quality, well-maintained inventory. And above all we value our client’s trust in helping with important events in their life.

Goodwin Events is owned by Drew and Margie Sorrell. After 3 years abroad living on a sailboat, they returned to Greensboro GA, Margie’s birthplace, to help open Goodwin Manor, a southern-style Bed and Breakfast. They started Goodwin Events with the belief that an event rental company could provide more than just equipment. They recognize their company’s responsibility with every event and take a personal role in working with clients. Drew handles sales, marketing, and operations. Margie attends to the company’s business relationships, human resources and accounting. The live at Lake Oconee in Greensboro, GA with their two (soon to be three) children, Shafer and Lydie.
